Focusing exclusively on weddings and events statewide, Azalea will work with you to make your event unforgettable. Flowers are our passion so we truly enjoy creating unique designs that reflect your personal style via the natural beauty of the flowers. Through a one-on-one consultation with one of our designers, we'll get a sense of your style and translate that into something that's uniquely you. Azalea creates arrangements in all styles from modern and stylish to romantic or elegant. Because we work on weddings and special events large and small, Azalea has no minimum order. Go Green We believe in supporting local growers and source locally whenever possible. We feel great about working with CT's beautiful farms and love that the blooms are at their peak beauty and freshness, having just been picked from Connecticut's green fields hours before your event. We also regularly work with Veriflora-certified flowers, which are ethically and sustainably grown, and can also obtain organic flowers upon request. Our Process Here's an overview of what you can expect when working with us. Featured on Style Me PrettyTo start we'll want to know all the details of your event - what kind of event, where, and when. Through a phone or in-person consultation, we'll talk to you about the style or theme you want to create. We'll also discuss any color palette you may have in mind and suggest complimentary colors to introduce through the decor and flowers. Because we focus solely on weddings and events, we work out of an artist's studio space rather than a storefront. Once we have an overview of the specifics of your event, we'll take a few days to think creatively about suggestions for you. Ideas will include anything from specific flower types to creative containers, table linens that will pop or imaginative candle uses to make your event exceptional. We'll then provide our suggestions to you with pricing via email. We'll make changes based on your feedback until we have a finalized plan for your event's flowers. In order to reserve the date with us, we require a 40% deposit. The remaining balance is due by your event. Best of The Knot 2012To insure a smooth event, we'll work closely with the event manager at your facility, your wedding coordinator or anyone else that might be managing your event. All delivery addresses and times will be gathered well in advance. We'll personally deliver and set up your flowers, attending to all details for a flawless look. It's also worth mentioning that because flowers are a crop like any other, crop failures or weather conditions could prevent the availability of a specific flower you have selected. In the unlikely event that this happens, our experienced staff would suggest a similar flower. There is always an excellent alternative available.
